FOCUS ... Once talent is accounted for, FOCUS is the difference between winning championships and merely being good or even very good. And sometimes, even when the other teams or players are far more talented, FOCUS, if good enough can still win out.

FOCUS or its absence is a state of the Human Brain. In the younger Human Brain, focus is much easier to achieve because there are from the mid-teens to the very early 20s, up to twice as many brain cells as we retain thereafter as adults. This is normal Brain Development. But the loss of approximately 100 billion brain cells (half the adolescent-to-young-adulthood temporary total), makes FOCUS sometimes much harder to recover after a period of stress, whether acute or chronic for the professional athlete.

FOCUS or its absence is a state of the Human Brain. It is a toss-up whether FOCUS is easier or harder to maintain or recover when lost, at any age if you are an individual athlete versus a member of a team.  But in either case the enemy of FOCUS is STRESS!  Although the word is tossed about in everyday conversation by people of all ages in every walk of life almost no one understands what STRESS is; whether it comes in a "good" form and a "bad" form or not; and almost certainly no one you know including yourself has had before now a foolproof method of controlling it.  But lack of FOCUS or loss of FOCUS is precisely why athletes as well as their coaches and managers lose athletic competitions.  All of the talent in the world never makes up for just the right amount of lost or lacking FOCUS.

FOCUS or its absence is a state of the Human Brain. To improve FOCUS every day, you need to know something about Brain Science. Player or Coach or Manager ...You can learn it here!

FOCUS or its absence is a state of the Human Brain.  The more difficult and demanding a sport is the more it produces stress in the athlete as well as anyone coaching him or her.  In the absence of this stress, in one of its forms, so-called "good stress", there is no competitive spirit or will to win.  But in the presence of another kind of stress, so-called "bad stress", achieving or maintaining FOCUS becomes harder and harder to do, and wherever it is not achieved or maintained an athlete will go into a decline and in all too many cases eventually, simply abandon the sport involved.

FOCUS or its absence is a state of the Human Brain.  The nature of competition is such that when an athlete is most FOCUSed, he or she can feel so in control of their actions that it's called "being in the zone".  The "zone" is total focus.  Also known as "Flow", Wikipedia defines it this way ... (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flow_[psychology]) ... the mental state of operation in which a person
performing an activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity. In essence, flow is characterized by complete absorption in what one does ... Colloquial terms for this or similar mental states include: to be in the moment, present, in the zone, on a roll, wired in, in the groove, on fire, in tune, centered, or singularly focused.  Hence "the Zone" or "Flow" = MAX FOCUS.  The Enemy of FOCUS is Stress!

FOCUS or its absence is a state of the Human Brain.  The Enemy of FOCUS is Stress! Stress is just this: DEMANDS (whether of the moment or long term) ACTUALLY and/or PERCEIVED GREATER THAN RESOURCES ... physical and/or emotional and/or cognitive.  The Demands can range from pain to fatigue to fear/anxiety/upset/ to depression to confusion, to memory and computational misfires The TRUSTCardTM contains a simple, repeatable Brain exercise which an athlete can do anywhere, anytime - literally ... pre-game, mid-game and post-game or match.

FOCUS or its absence is a state of the Human Brain. The TRUSTCardTM does not require any kind of computer or electronic device access.  No chemicals, supplements or medications, are involved. You don't need another person to help you. You can control your own Brain Function. It isn't bio-feedback. No machines are involved. It isn't hypnosis or self-hypnosis. It is supported by multiple websites; but it isn't meditation or cognitive therapy. It includes your performing a Natural Brain function everyone has performed thousands of time on their own; but when performed in a certain sequence for a certain length of time, the Brain Exercise contained on The TRUSTCardTM converts "bad stress" to "good stress" or no stress at all, depending on what you are doing, when, where and why.
